Visiting the Mighty Mo'

To help commemorate the inaugural arrival of the Mighty Mo', Steve Fisher sailed to the northshore of Molokai and met the " U.S.S. Missouri", on her tow by tug to Pearl Harbor. After a lengthy battle with the state of Washington over her future, Hawaii became her new retirement home. According to Fisher,"I was the first craft to meet her in Hawaiian waters. It was an incredible experience for me to see this 900 foot battleship so close on her last open water voyage."
